Too much.

This game was massive in it's game play, and there was a world of things to look at and get involved with.

Yet it was flawed.
In the original game, :The Game:, you simply jumped the edge of the platform and fell to your death to receive a witty remark about what just happened.
It was funny and tracked the current trends of the time.
Yet now as we move into final game, there was too much to handle to make it complimentary to the first game.
In this gave you have physics and and platforming, making somewhat like Super Meat Boy and Super Mario Galaxy 2.
It was cool until you over used it and brought it out of trend within a few levels.
It was no longer about "Ha ha, killing yourself is funny" but more like an intense platformer striving between internet humor and game play. Sadly, the trait that made it :The Game: lost, and the humor was short lived.

Could of been better.

Let's look at its good qualities first.
*The art was O.K
*The gun effects where great
*Voices were good.
Now the bad qualities.
*Story was old.
*Mouse controls didn't help, it was to easy to click outside of the screen and freeze the game.
*The hero didn't get the boost I needed to make the effort worth while.
*The crab arm kept popping inside the screen, revealing that it is just a floating crab arm.
Now I know you you're thinking, 3 goods for 3 wrongs? Right? Wrong, the game in the end left me seeing that this is somewhat mediocre, average in a quality and game play. At least some more prompted tutorials physics engine dynamics could of helped a lot.

What a fool I was....

I wasted time, I made the wrong choices and wasted time just to see how it would be. but when the final day came and me and my daughter where as pale as ghosts, I knew I couldn't let this final moment go to waste. I took her to the park and we sat on the bench, and as it began to snow and everything was cold, we where the last people on earth and was so quite, she leaned on my side and closed her eyes, she was so still; like she was asleep. Everything became blurry as the final moments of my life drew to a close, I closed my eyes and it was over, I killed everyone on earth and did it all for a heart that soon regretted everything it had done. This game is heart warming and meaningful I can't explain it. It just brings you to cry in the end, looking at the terror you caused and the race to put it back together, it when A man has to look back in his life and think about what matters, from the final choice to that last decision...

Pretty good!

I loved the game, it was fast paced, easy to do and just easy to look at and smile. Although one of the problems I have is that it was too easy. The difficulty never really took off as progresses concern, in fact it got harder and easier all the time. what I really don't understand is why couldn't use booleans in a smarter way. If you could adjust certain things in a level, and just make you wonder for you self, I could of gotten harder. But instead it was all about which order you clicked something. But none the less, I loved it.

This is terrible...

How could of not update, we tried several times but it never updated, this version doesn't even have a skip intro button, music in the game, and so much more. I'm begging to realize something, this game had a lower score than the score in my dream i had! All this work was for nothing (yes I can say that, i did the art)

Anything but original.

You, like many other talented programmers have all gotten you're hands on the same idea once or twice in there carrier and they where all good games of course, except for the fact this game is nothing new.

#1 The concept: Nothing new or great, just so many other vertical shooters the goal is always simple, get to the end of level while blowing up everything in you're path.
#2 The art: not even that good, I mean yeah its some nice pixel work but still, the colors are dull and dont REALLY give the element of steam punk or whatever you where trying to pass.
#3 The programming: no doubt you where successful in putting the game together right way, you took all the precautions to keep it from glitching ( such as making all your current lazer beams disappear when you die to keep you're from confusing the game, should you beat the bad guy and then die in that single second.)

So as far as I can tell, the game aint original, in fact the same idea has been done time and time again, they only thing i would have you is fix is the difficulty of the boss'es.

Me and my friend say you get a three.

You did manage to use very small amounts of code to express you interest in video game music; sadly tho it wasn't that impressive. You used very small amounts of code to do something as simple as on(press){gotoAndPlay(/*soandso*/)}; not that hard. But at least you put did put some art into it as for others who just pictures of the internet tied it together. now why I give you a three is because you know some form of programming, as for how simple it was I suspect it was AS1.0 or AS2.0. buyt over all not that impress, all I can say is that this kind of stuff is meant for the eyes of Sheezyart. While something like a good game or movie is meant for this, dont get me wrong, this is interactive.

Pros and cons.

When you start the game the game, and start a level the song is added again, so now you have two or more songs playing at once, that takes away some points.
The game looked nice and stylish, like some kind of car from the future, the glow worked well.
I also liked the anti glitch system.
The game seemed to straight forward and bland, the levels seemed uneven and the cursor did not match.

looks good, but glitchy and bland

Well I find this game somewhat bland, for starters there is only one way to play this game, and that is by pushing rocks, from one place to another, and I did not get far in the game with running into glitches, for instance, in level 9, I pushed two rocks ontop eachother and then hopped on the top one, my hero just then started to run in place, and in room 10 where the water fall go's over a wall of rock, I pressed the hero agianst the wall and pressed up, the hero did not go anyway where. I must say that this game in fact has good looks, but that is not enughf to gives to a game with only one element.

this game is wonderful, as cheap as the abilitys seem it acutaly makes it very dificult the farther you go! I had a good houl once I died on a level two times in a row, I also like the idea of getting an uprade, such a bug with eyes are a new background color, vfery rewarding, but the thing that realy bugs the life out of me is that i have to pay for it? i mean this is newground were talking about right? the people on here arnt alowed to use their mothers credit card to buy the rest of the game. but because of that its actualy very funny how the users above and below me can act so immature over that slight detail, i doubt they will even get to the point where they will need to buy the rest!

Over all its a wonderful game and I a'm anticapating the next to come!

A stranger.
